How is it gay to listen to a cover of a justin bieber song ?

I've had a girlfriend for 3 years, I listen to Justin Bieber. Some of my other favorite bands are Korn, Andrew WK, MxPx, POD, Rage Against the Machine- but I also like Bieber. Am I aware that he's a gimmick to make little girls shell out cash? Yes. Are his songs autotuned, all about little girls, generic, and repetitive? Yes. But they're catchy and I enjoy them.
