Why are you considered not ready for marriage if you have a female singer you idolize?

Cathy Nguyen from Youtube is my idol and people think I cannot marry my vietnamese fiancee from vietnam because they claim I'm obsessed with her. They said you should only be thinking about the girl who your going to marry and they said my fiancee is going to be upset because I always think about Cathy. Why do they think that ????
